Got Exactly What We Wanted

Great quality, no problems at all. Completely hassle-free and they had great ideas about what we could do. They even helped us out by doing a bit extra for us after we accidentally undermined an existing bit of our garden. And, as my wife never got bored of telling me, they were extremely tidy and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. No hesitation in recommending to others.

Garden first are first class

I first heard about this company through a friend, and from the first meeting i felt comfortable and confident in Steven, he had fantastic ideas and really listened to mine! The final plan for the garden arrived in the post a couple of days later, (this incidentally was a free service) i was thrilled, a week and two days later the garden was finished, he had taken a boring, bog standard back garden and created a space with character and class, the two specially designed decked areas look amazing with all the lights and we can relax wherever the sun is, my little girl will appreciate the beautiful lawn, and loves the water feature. The garden first team were friendly and always professional, and i must say tidy, cleaning up each evening afterwards. Well done and thank you so much x

Look no further for quality & reliability

I cannot speak too highly about Garden - First. I found them thru Google. I was looking for a local, family firm with no sub-contractors. The job was viewed by Dave and a detailed plan / design (no charge) and estimate was provided. I was given the opportunity to inspect their previous work and was very impressed with the quality and the feedback. The team led by Steve were prompt, courteous and extremely hard-working. It was a pleasure to have them around. They didn't even take time off to watch the England v Slovenia game in the World Cup!!! :o) No harm getting them in for one of your estimates. I guarantee you won't fail to be impressed by their professionalism.



Excellent work by Garden First

We had wanted to build a drive for a while. This was something that we had no previous experience of, and like some other customers, we were wary of which contractor to hire. I had asked two contractors to quote, but neither of them proved at all suitable: there have been planning regulations with regard to installing drainage since 2008, yet neither of these first contractors mentioned these. A drive from one of these two would have contravened these regulations. I found Garden First online, and from the first time that I contacted them, they were superb. They sat through a meeting with council planning staff with me, and when permission came through, the team created a superb drive. They were flexible with scheduling of work, then worked really hard. The team were careful in the marking out and installation. Neighbours have commented on how smart the drive looks. Thanks very much!
